Ok maybe our fighting skills did improve within the next few months of battling evil and getting to know Cole, the mystery man. But it really didn’t seem that we improved much even though Raja said we had. You see as we kept fighting the enemy, the enemy just kept getting stronger like we did. The sky, still nearly pitch black, was starting to lighten up, and the teachers who talked of nothing but history to an interest in the sky. It brightened everyone’s sprits and gave them hope. It also gave us happiness and the will to fight, as sailor scouts. And yet the fact that now everyone now thought there was hope was kind of scary and sad. I mean what if we (the sailor scouts) couldn’t save Crystal Tokyo after all?

People now were taking interest in Crystal Tokyo and started cleaning it up and even though no one would admit it, I knew somewhere that in the other sailor scout’s souls and probably even Cole, we all had dreams about the sky but we had more doubts than you could imagine.

As we ran, transformed to the sailor scouts. We ran to help the person. As soon as we beat the monster. we ran over to the person. Akira started crying. “It’s Valerie. She was one of my best friends.” Cole looked up, I’m so sorry.” We all agreed.

I went out later that night to sit with Akira. “I’m sorry,” I said. “I don’t get it, LeAndrea. If we can’t help save the people who we care about most, then why are we even here?” that made me think. Why are we here if we can’t help everyone?

I sat on my bed thinking. Raja came in with a cookie in her mouth. She hopped up on my bed. “I don’t get it Raja. If we can’t help everyone then why do we even fight?” “Because LeAndrea, if you didn’t help anyone then they would win.” “they?” “Queen Rayon and her crew. The ones that scorched the sky.” I looked at her. “I know. I just wish we could help everyone.” “Well, at least you’re helping someone.” “yeah I guess, but still…” “But still you can’t have everything you want.” Raja tried to point out.

I woke up the next day to find that I wanted to die more than anything else. I sat up as tears dripped from my face. Raja woke up. “What’s wrong?” “Raja, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to wake you…” “Well you did, so you might as well tell me why you’re crying.” “I can’t take it anymore. We’ve been fighting for weeks and still the sky is black. All the people are losing hope… and so am I.” “Oh stop feeling sorry for yourself. You should you some of that energy that you spend crying on trying to save the sky, maybe then you’d be helping.” “But Raja, how am I supposed to save the sky if we can’t stop Queen Rayon?” “You can stop her. You just have to find her…” “I have an idea…”

I met the others and told them my plan. “It’s risky… but I can track them,” Akira said. “Well I think the major question is are we ready?” Teal asked. “No,” Melanie said, “the major question is do we stand a chance?” Raja jumped at that “Of Course! We have to try or else it’ll never happen.” “Raja’s right. If we don’t put ourselves out there and take a risk, then we’ll never win,” Cole added.

“Oh shut up, Cole. You are so annoying. You don’t have any of your own opinions you just do and say what everybody else does.” He looked at me. “I do have one opinion, and it’s mine. You wanna know what it is?” He asked. “No not really,” I told him. “Too bad. My opinion is I hate your guts.” “Go for you. Asshole!” I got up. He did too.

“Stop!” Raja intervened. “This won’t help. Take this fight up after we help the sky.” “If we live,” Teal mumbled. “Fine,” I said looking at him, “but that doesn’t change anything. I still hate you.” “Well at least there’s something we agree on,” Cole shot back in response. He sneered at him.

“I GOT IT!” Akira yelled. “I pinpointed the location where Queen Rayon and her little fucking Minions are.” Teal stood up, “Good now we can kick her evil ass.” We laughed. “Well,” I asked, “Where do we go from here?” “I guess we can skip school and start today,” Akira suggested. “I agree.” Raja said. “Yeah, the sooner we start, the sooner we can save the sky!” Melanie jumped up.

So it was settled. We started on what could be the last day of our lives. Wanna know the funny thing? We weren’t scared. We figured that if we couldn’t stop Queen Rayon and save the sky, then it wasn’t worth living… that we were useless. So we seized the opportunity. We found the cave where Queen Rayon was hiding out. Just as we thought we were almost there, we discovered an unpleasant surprise… her hideout was a maze.

“There’s no way my computer can navigate through this,” Mercury (Akira) said. “Then I guess we’ll have to rely on instincts.”

But after hours of useless searching we were lost, we were never going to make it out. “We’ll have to split up. Venus (Melanie) and Mars (Kimberly) you two go together. Sailor Ganymede?” I looked up. “Yeah?” “You’ll go with Callisto knight. (Cole.) Jupiter, (Teal) Raja and I will all go together.” Akira said. “Hey, Mercury (Akira, Can you do some rearranging?” I asked. “Get over yourself Ganymede. This is a mission not a movie.” Jupiter (Teal) turned to Callisto Knight (Cole) “Watch her back. She’s the most important one.” I looked at her. “Excuse me? We’re all equal.” I said. “Don’t worry about it. We have no time for this now. Look, Ganymede I promise I’ll explain everything after this, let’s just get through this alive ok?” I nodded. “Lets go then.” And so we split up.

“I can’t believe I was stuck with such an incompetent weasel,” I told Cole. “Hey! This wasn’t the way I would have done it ether!” “Hey! Don’t yell at me.” “Well maybe if you weren’t such a spoiled brat Ganymede, I wouldn’t.” “What does me being spoiled have to do with anything? Anyway my parents don’t spoil me.” “Yeah right. Look at the clothes you wear.” I just looked at him. “Yeah,” I said after a while, “Jealous? Because they’re better than the scrubs you have to wear?”
In Queen Rayon’s Secret Chamber…

“Saigon,” Queen Rayon spoke, “I want you to kill them all.” “Yes, my queen, but who first?” “The smart one, Mercury and her group. Then kill the quarreling last. With the way they’re going at it they won’t stop fighting long enough to notice that they’re dead.” “Yes, my Queen.” Saigon disappeared.

“Soon I won’t have to deal with you annoying Sailor bitches anymore. I’ll just have to deal with the rest of fucking humanity. But that won’t last for long.” Rayon laughed.

“We’re almost there,” Mercury (Akira) said, “Just a little bit further.” “Thank God!” Jupiter (Teal) started, “I am so beat!” Saigon appeared. “Too bad you’ll never make it. I am Saigon, of Queen Rayon.” “Mercury Aqua firer!” “Jupiter Storm.” A shield came out and blocked Saigon. “You can’t do anything to harm me. I am invincible.” Raja jumped up on him and starched his face. “You fucking cat! If I wasn’t supposed to kill you all I’d beat the shit out of you.” “Oh threatening a kitten? Don’t you have bigger problems?” Jupiter (Teal) asked. “Yeah. I’ll deal with the fucking cat after I kill you.”

“Saigon!” Saigon heard a voice in his head. “Saigon! On second thought don’t kill them. I think I could use them as my slaves. Bring them back here. NOW!” “Yes, my queen.” Saigon replied. “Well I’ll spare your useless souls, but you have to come with me.” Saigon lifted up if hand and they both disappeared.

“YES!” Raja said. “He forgot about me. I have to go warn Ganymede and the others. I’ll tell them what Mercury told us… how to get there.” Raja ran off to find Venus (Melanie) and Mars (Kimberly).

“I think we’ll be fine. We’re almost there… I hope.” “Don’t sweat it Sailor V. (Melanie) we’ll be there in no time.” Mars (Kim) smiled. Saigon appeared. “you’re coming with me.” They shot at him. “Oh please I don’t have time for your childish games.” Raja jumped on Venus’s shoulder, and then jumped on Saigon’s face. “I thought I rid you.” Then they all disappeared.

Little did we know what was happening to the others. “Look up ahead.” Cole said, “I think we’re close.” “Good. Let’s end this as soon as possible.” “Agreed.”

Saigon stood in front of us. “Ganymede Frozen Fire!” A shield blocked it, and reflected it. I was shot backwards. “Kill it kill it!” I yelled. He threw a rose. “SHIT!” Saigon yelled as it cut threw his shield.

“I have a plan! Do it again!” I yelled. “why?” “Just do it!” I stood up. He threw a rose. “Ganymede frozen fire!” It went through his shield while his defense was down. “Damn.” Saigon said. As he fell to the ground. Callisto Knight (Cole) threw another rose and Saigon’s body disappeared.

I sighed. “thank god. I thought we were cooked.” Cole looked at me. “You were quick on your feet. Thanks.” “Yeah whatever.” I looked at him. “This doesn’t make us friends just because we’re being nice does it?” I asked. “Uh… no, no I don’t think so.” He replied. “Um… good.” He looked at me. “let’s go then.” I said.

We found the end of the tunnel. “Queen Rayon! We know you’re here! Stop hiding! I want to fight you!” I yelled. “Don’t you mean we want to fight you?” Cole asked. “Callisto knight…you remember Jupiter, (Teal) told you to watch my back? Well I just remembered something Nicholas told me.”

Flashback

“LeAndrea?” I looked up. “Nicholas? What’s up?” “LeAndrea I can’t tell you why or how but I know that I should tell you this. Somehow… somewhere… I’m not sure how to say this. You have to defeat Queen Rayon Alone.” “Why?” “because, you are sailor Ganymede.” “So?” “Have you ever heard the stories? In the stories when Ganymede aligned with the real moon, in the days before it was destroyed, Queen Rayon had the power to scorch the sky. After many battles of power between Your mother and Queen Rayon, your mother was beaten and the sky was scorched, letting Queen Rayon into a throne of power… a chance for a new beginning. Queen Rayon claimed your mother’s seat of power.”

“My mother?” “Queen Rene sent you into this time, to save Crystal Tokyo while you could. Thus why you have no other memories of your childhood, but being in a wonderful palace.” “I never told anyone about those. I always thought they were fake.” Nicholas nodded. “Your born parents adopted you and all you know now is the sky.” “I thought I was chosen to be Ganymede because I wanted to help, not because it was destiny.” “LeAndrea, you had to have the desire to be Ganymede.”

Present time
“That’s why it has to be me.” Callisto knight smiled. “Yeah, ok sure.” He stepped aside. “And if I die, don’t save me. Got it?” “Don’t get hurt Ganymede.” “I’ll be fine.” I nodded and ran off.

“Rayon? I’m ready.” Rayon appeared.

“Oh, this is the daughter of the late Queen Rene. Your mother, was who I enjoyed watching die the most.” “Rayon, don’t try to get me mad, it won’t work. I don’t even remember my mother.” Rayon shot me a look. “Oh I see. Take this!” She shot me down.

I stood up. “Ganymede frozen fire!” It didn’t have much of an effect. Rayon shot me back. I couldn’t move. My body was frozen. I was going unconscious, and was going to get killed. I lifted my head, but fell unconscious.
