The Black Moon Family

The Black Moon Family appeared in the second part of the "Sailor Moon R" series. In the 30th century the world had fallen into a deep sleep, and Neo Queen Serenity awakened the world and created Crystal Tokyo. In order to do this, everyone had to be cleansed by Neo Queen Serenity's crystal. Those who didn't want to be cleansed, left earth and lived on the far side of the galaxy. The people made their own civilization and tried to take over Crystal Tokyo. They also tried open the Black Gate by using the Black Crystal.
